SWHR receives Gold Award for pandemic resources website

Site offers resources and tools to help physicians treat patients

Southwestern Health Resources (SWHR) was named a 2020 Gold Award winner at this year's Healthcare Leadership Awards for its COVID-19 resources website for network physicians.

The award was given by the annual awards program in the new category of Best COVID-19 Pandemic Related Communications.

The winning website was developed as part of SWHR's efforts to help its network physicians navigate the challenges of the pandemic. The site provides resources and tools to help treat and communicate with patients, and includes operations guidance for practices, information on using telehealth and resources for patients.

The awards program recognizes the best websites, digital communications and business improvement initiatives across the healthcare industry.
