Cook Children's Provider Update CLIA Certifications in PEMS Implementation Delayed

CLIA Certifications in PEMS Implementation Delayed

Due to delays in Provider enrollment processing, the enrollment applications that require Health and Humans Services Commission (HHSC) or Office of the Inspector General (OIG) review is currently delayed by 90-120 business days.

Providers will continue to see a notice on their remittance advice (RA) if a CLIA certificate is missing, outdated or not reflected in PEMS, however, denials are delayed until implementation date.
