INTERLINK Completes Annual Transplant Credentialing Cycle
INTERLINK is proud to announce the successful completion of our annual transplant credentialing process. Overseen by our Transplant Quality Assurance Committee, this process ensures our network reflects centers with proven excellence and consistent, data‑driven results. Our evaluation focuses on objective clinical indicators and performance outcomes—not marketing or reputation—highlighting programs that deliver measurable quality in patient care.
Central to this process is the INTERLINK Performance Model, which evaluates adult BMT, heart, lung, liver, kidney, and kidney-pancreas transplant programs against national peer performance. By assessing outcomes comparatively and consistently year over year, the model delivers an objective view of program quality—identifying centers that are excelling, improving, or sustaining high performance.
We value our partnerships with transplant hospitals and appreciate the collaboration that makes this process possible. Our goal is to ensure that patients referred through INTERLINK are connected with programs that have demonstrated excellence and sustained commitment to quality care.
Key Personal and Program Changes
As a trusted partner in the INTERLINK credentialed network, your participation plays an important role in helping us maintain accurate, up-to-date information and strong communication across our system.
In order to support your program(s) effectively and ensure continued alignment with network standards, transplant programs are required to provide written notice of any material changes that may impact operations or patient care.
Material changes include, but are not limited to, the departure or transition of key surgical or medical team members, updates to program leadership, or other significant developments affecting services.

VBA Gateway
Our partners now have access to INTERLINK's VBA GATEWAY, our online portal that gives providers access to check case status as well as confirm if claims have been received and priced.
With this online portal, providers and billing entities will be able to login to our site and confirm if a patient has an active INTERLINK case, confirm if a claim was received, view the allowed amount on a claim, and verify when the claim was submitted to the payer for processing.
Email claims@interlinkhealth.com for your log in credentials.
Contract Updates
INTERLINK has over 30 years of experience—founded in 1995—and many long‑standing COE partnerships. Because of this history, some older agreements were built on past pricing models and outdated clinical benchmarks. INTERLINK regularly reviews and modernizes these legacy contracts to align them with current market rates, updated bundled pricing, and today’s performance standards. This continual refresh ensures every facility—new or long‑established—meets INTERLINK’s expectations for value, quality, and cost efficiency.
Have outdated rates that don’t fit today's landscape? Contact your INTERLINK contracting representative to discuss modernizing them.
